Yer Lee

MADISON - Yer Lee, age 55, where she lived in Madison, Wis., passed away on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, as a result of a fatal car accident on Highway 23 and County G. Yer was born on Jan. 7, 1960, in a village Long ka, located in Laos. Yer was the youngest of 10 siblings; seven brothers and three sisters. Yer was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Da neng Thao and Bee Thor. Yer was married to Kee Thao and both arrived in Montana in 1980. In 1982, they moved to Madison, Wis., where they raised nine children. Yer leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 35 years, Kee Thao; three sons, Jerry (Mandy), Yee (Mai Phia), and Chao; and five daughters, Chong (Bee), Sonja (Chan), Cecilia, Sheng (Chue), and Pa Houa. Yer is also survived by 17 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Yer worked at Electronic Theatre Controls Corp in Middleton, Wis., for total of 15 years whom she considered her second family. When Beloit Farmer's Market first opened to the community, Yer was the fourth vendor listed and since then, every Saturday morning in the summer Yer and Kee would sell their fresh vegetables picked the day before from their garden in Cottage Grove, Wis. Yer was a great wife, mother, and grandmother that will be missed and never forgotten and will live on within the memories of her family, friends and all whom had the pleasure of knowing her. Services for Yer Lee will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Road, Madison, beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, through 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015.
