William Walter Emmert

Janesville-William Walter Emmert, age 80, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 at Rock Haven, Rock County Health Care Center. He was born January 26, 1929 in Emerald Grove, Wisconsinthe son of William and Reneta (Hoffman) Emmert. He married Elizabeth Courtney whom he had three children with. In September of 1962 he married Helen Sampson (Druckhammer) in Janesville. It was fitting that Bill passed away on Labor Day because he was a proud UAW worker working for General Motors for forty four years before retiring in July of 1991. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren whom he loved deeply. William is survived by his children, Samantha (Robert) I. August of Janesville, WI; Gail (Michael)E. VonPimnon, of Tuscon, AZ; Gary (Charlene)P. Emmert of Riverbank CA; Mark (Deborah)S. Emmert of North Manchester, IN Halene (David)A. Rowley of Janesville, WI Ten grandchildren, Ceneca, Amanda, Sarah, Emily, Jacob, Allison, Nicole, Joseph, Danny, James Four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Helen, his previous wife Elizabeth, two sisters Rose, Louise, one brother Paul, one grandson Steven. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, September 11, 2009 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel 1618 E. Racine St. Friends may call at 11:00 until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at MiltonLawnsMemorial Park. Bill's family wishes to thank Rock Haven for their exceptional care of Bill.
