Waltraud M. Stewart

MADISON – Waltraud M. Stewart “Kitty”, age 93 of Madison, passed away at Sylvan Crossing Memory Care on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, after a five-year struggle with her incapability’s. She was born in Berlin, Germany on Sept. 4, 1928. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margarete Wittig Risop and her stepfather, George Wittig. She is survived by her brother, Wolfgang (Martha) Risop; niece, Nanci; nephew, Marcus (Sara), and their children, Owen and Eve. Waltraud was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at LAKEVIEW MORAVIAN CHURCH, 3565 Tulane Ave., Madison. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Moravian Church.
