MADISON - Virginia Minetta Ginger Galloway, age 96, passed away June 9, 2015. She was born Aug. 3, 1918 in West Point, Wis. the daughter of Emma and Walter Latham. She married Thomas Galloway on July 4th In St. Louis, Missouri and they had five kids. Ginger was a high fashion, classy dresser and could be found sporting one of her many leather jackets with a matching silk scarf on most fall days. She loved all holidays but St. Paddys Day and Halloween were her favorites. Maybe it was the Kiss Me, Im Irish pin that she actually enjoyed most. A few of her favorite things included: her 64 1/2 Mustang convertible; her yard and gardening (dont we all miss those tomatoes); The Chicago Cubs; Bud Light on ice; the color Red; and her dogs, Sissy and Lady (well almost her dog). She loved to vacation to Cable, Wis., Florida, Las Vegas and those Cruises sitting at the Captains Table. She had a prize calf in the 4H Club and enjoyed spending time at The Greek Club. Yet none of those compared to her love of bowling. She held many titles including Best Bowler at State in the over 90 age bracket. She loved milk until her dad introduced her to beer. There wasnt a niece or nephew that didnt love her. She always had the Kids Table and the famous bucket of toys. She is survived by: Dee Smith, Joseph and Sue Galloway (Mark, Brittany) (Christine, Sydney, Hailey), Kathleen Blaney (David, Debbie, Megan, Connor) (Autumn, Jason, Sierra, Kiana) (Dawn, Rob, Marlee, Sammi), Virginia Blaney (Terri, Fritz, Jane) (Jayson) (Jamie, Roger), and Elizabeth and Gary Blankenheim (Tammy, Melissa) (Laura, Jasen, Madisen, Ayden, Gaven) (Amanda, Brian, Kellen).
