Vince E. Alexander

FITCHBURG, WIS. – Vince Edward Gilbert-Alexander, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019 at the Agrace HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg, Wis. Vince was born in Warren, Ark., on Sept. 21, 1963, the son of Donald Gilbert and Frances Louise Alexander-Gilbert. His favorite past times were skydiving; working at International Federation for the Blind; Solutions, attending college at North Central Technical College in Wausau, Wis.; and earlier in his life, carpentry work. Vince is survived by his father, Donald Gilbert; six children, Terence Rideout, Eric Rideout, Jeremy Clary, Ki’aire Collins, Little Frances Alexander and Little Agape Alexander; brothers and sisters, Patrick L. Alexander-Gilbert, Gay Dean Cranford-Smith, Donna Gilbert, Melissa Gilbert, Greg Gilbert, Phyllis Gilbert, Eleanor Gilbert and Donald Gilbert; two grandchildren, Jaydin Rideout and Terryn Ridout; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services for Vince will be held at FOUR LAKES CHURCH OF CHRIST, 302 Acewood Blvd., Madison on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Oak Hall Cemetery, Fitchburg. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
