Verona H. Reinhart

JANESVILLE - Ronnie Reinhart, age 94, left this world on April 14, 2017 with her daughters holding her hands. She was born in Greenwood, Wis., on Nov. 27, 1922, to German immigrant parents, the fourteenth (and last) child to be raised on their farm family. She barely knew some of her siblings, who were 30 years older than she. Ronnie joined the Navy "to see the world" with her best friend and it was in Washington, DC where she met and married Bob Colussy, the father of their four daughters. She and Bob lived in Bridgeville, Penn., Milwaukee, and Rockford, Ill. She was predeceased by husbands, Bob Colussy and Al Donze; and daughters, Barbara Scott and Bobbie Wahlquist. She is survived by daughters, Faith "Ping" Montanye (Denis Montanye) and Connie Colussy (Joe Lynde, and grandchildren Justin Colussi-Lynde, Dana Colussi-Lynde, Theresa Carroll (Edwin Gordon), Patrick Wahlquist (Brooke); and great-grandchildren, Grace Bollweg, Nolan Wahlquist, and Brady Gordon. She is further survived by the families of Thomas Cross of Bridgeville, Dick and Jackie Smith of Houston, Kelly Wahlquist of Las Vegas, and Bill Scott of Minnesota. Ronnie was a very hard worker all her life. She loved waitressing and her tips contributed substantially to her family's income. She also worked as a home health aide in her later years when she finally settled in Janesville to be closer to Faith and Denis. Faith and Connie would like to thank the entire staff of Rock Haven Nursing Home for the loving care they provided our Mother during the last seven years of her life. They always treated her with dignity and kindness. Funeral services will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1618 E Racine St. Janesville on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 beginning at 10:30 a.m. with military honors concluding the service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Private graveside services will be held in Rockford.
