Vera Caravello passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center. She was born in Lone Rock, on May 7, 1918, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Smith) Storkson. She was married to Eddy Wills from 1937 until 1945. She then married Steven Caravello in 1948 and was with him until the time of his death in 1992. She retired from a variety of jobs in 1973. She then enjoyed her family get-togethers and traveling. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Julia Wills; a daughter, Joanne (Bob) Batts of Arizona; grandchildren, Debra (Roger) Antonie of California, Barbara (Dan) Boom of Shorewood, John (Rumiko) Hughes of California, Mark (Julie) Wills of DeForest, Jay (Regina) Wills of Belleville and Matthew Wills of Madison; great-grandchildren, Heather, Steven Antonie, Laura (Josh) Hellfeld, Holly and Scott Bittinger, Michael and Kathryn Wills, and Danielle, Stephen, Josephine and Bailey Wills; sister-in-law, Mary Bucholz; sister, Carol Ringelstetter of Spring Green; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; her son, Mark Wills; her granddaughter, Jayne; her parents; sisters, Delta Linden, Marjorie Keyes, Dorothy Viney and Rose Nelson; and brothers, Charles Jr., Alvin, Walter, Frank and Arthur "Bud." Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
