Tina L. Murphy

JANESVILLE - Tina L. Murphy, age 43, passed away peacefully at her home in Janesville, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. She was born on July 31, 1973 in Hayward, Wisconsin to Gordon Nielsen and Louise (Guderian) Nielsen. Tina was a 1991 graduate of Dodgeville High School. Tina was an exceptional woman who brought sunshine to a cloudy day with her radiant smile. She shared her love for life with all she met and gave us an amazing lesson on how to meet life head on with joy, spirit, courage, fight, forgiveness and love. Tina was an artist and created many lovely pieces for her family and friends. Tina is survived by her partner in life Dave Gunderson, two children Tricia McVay and Alex McVay, a grandson Damon Parrish, mother Louise Nielsen, siblings Cynthia Nielsen, Rhonda (John) Mackovets, Darlene Brown, Gordy (Tami) Nielsen, and Robert Nielsen, 8 nieces and nephews and her extended family Kimberly (Shawn) Gunn and their 3 children, Heather (Jack) Ewing and their 3 children, and Maghan (Kevin) White and 1 child. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent in Tinas name to Agrace Hospice Care at 2901 North Wright Road, Janesville, WI 53546, they provided excellent care in Tinas final days. A Celebration of Tinas Life will be held on April 15, 2017 starting at 1 pm at Dino's, 110 Diagonal Street, Dodgeville, WI 53533. Burial will be a private ceremony with family.
