Thomas S Wills

MADISON - Thomas Sanford Wills, age 74, passed away surrounded by family, on Aug. 10, 2016 after a long and difficult battle with reoccurring health issues. Tom was born in Madison on Dec. 18, 1941. He is survived by his son, John (Angie Wills), of Platteville; daughter, Melissa (Jesse Ali), of Arizona; along with four grandchildren, Allie, Legend, Gracie, and Jasmine. Tom is also survived by a sister, Terra (Michael) Woods; two step-sisters, Roxanne (Fred) Reiners and Roberta; and a step-brother, Robert. Tom was preceded in death by his father (1960), mother (1968), step-mother (1998), step-brother (1970), and a son, T.D. (1972). The family would like to thank the staff at The Willows Nursing Home in Sun Prairie, especially Laci Barton, for taking such good care of Tom in his final days. Tom was a very independent, strong, and caring man. It showed at The Willows because in his short time there he made two very close friends, Mary Wagner and Johnny Mitchell, who would constantly stop by and check in on Tom to make sure he was being given the best care around (which he was). We would also like to thank Rick Bauman of Arizona for being Toms best friend for many years. At Toms request, private services will be held.
