Thomas E. Harris

MADISON – Thomas E. Harris, age 77, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born June 14, 1930 in Milwaukee, the son of Edward and Ellen Harris. Tom served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1948 to 1952. He moved to Madison in 1963. Tom is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Leonard) Smith, of Antigua, and Michelle Harris of Madison; four grandsons, Anthony (Jessica), of Iowa City, Drew, of Colorado, Ben, of Antigua, and Lance, of Madison; his former wife Jan, and a good friend Jeanne. He was preceded in death by his parents, three infant sons, Scott, Bryan, and Thomas. Funeral services will be held at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Road, on Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Juliana Lesher officiating. Burial with military honors, will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
