Terry Jon Kruger

MADISON – Terry Jon Kruger, age 60 of Madison, passed away at home on Sunday, April 11, 2010 following an extended illness, including PTSD and COPD. He was born Aug. 11, 1949, the son of Leonard and Myrna (Milton) Kruger. After graduating from Pardeeville High School, he entered into the U.S. Marine Corp., in which he served during the Vietnam War. Terry was proud of his service and exemplified what the brotherhood of the Marine Corp was about. Terry was a friend of Bill’s for many years until his death. He married Katherine Lindsay on Aug. 29, 1992 in Madison. Terry held several different jobs, but most enjoyed driving cab for Union Cab. Terry is survived by his wife, Kate Lindsay, of Madison; his mother, Myrna Kruger, of Briggsville; a brother, Larry (Judy) Kruger, of Briggsville; a son, Derek; two daughters, Brandy and her family, and Adrian; his first wife, Juanita Gray; and several nieces, nephews, neighbors and dear friends, including the Firehawk-Catenacci family. He was preceded in death by his father, and his two special grandmothers. A gathering honoring Terry will be held at the JAMES REEB UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CONGREGATION, 2146 E. Johnson St., Madison on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at noon. Military honors will be conducted at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 11 a.m.
