MADISON - Terrance Terry Riddle, age 71, passed away at UW Hospital and Clinics on June 13, 2015. Terry was born on June 13, 1944 to Geraldine C. Riddle. He spent his baby years at the State School in Sparta and moved to Northern Wisconsin Center in Chippewa Falls when he was 2. He relocated to Madison in 1988 where he proceeded to fill his remaining years with all the life and adventures he could find. Terry enjoyed the many people watching opportunities in Madison spending time on the Union Terrace, Concerts on the Square, Kids in the Crossroads and festivals of all shapes and sizes. Every holiday was anticipated, decorated and celebrated. He enjoyed eating out, especially at Jade Garden with the Thursday night gang. Terry became a traveler who enjoyed many trips with Able Trek Tours. Terry loved his job at the Walgreens Distribution Center in Windsor and was a dedicated employee for 14 years. He had many good friends and coworkers from MARC including Maurice, his partner at work. He joined the congregation at First United Methodist Church in 1995 where he was eventually baptized. Terry rarely missed a service in 20 years. Terry will be dearly missed by many friends, including Amy Lutzke, Barbara White, Matt Scholtes, Ken Adler, Bruce Rasmussen, Bob and Ann Wolfe, Sherry Caves, Donalea Dinsmore, Tom and Josie Gobel, Jim Newton, Paula Brotski, Sandy Listol-Feuling, Colleen Peterson, Julie Nichols-Younes, Darwin Ness, Randy Wilkins, Emma Czarapata and Bob Veland; his caring in-home staff and the wonderful caregivers on the Walking Iron wing at Badger Prairie, especially Debi. He will also be deeply missed by his job coaches Scott Thompson, Patti Fellenz, Heidi Krieger and special friend Ben Thomas. A memorial service will be held at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 203 Wisconsin Ave., Madison on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 beginning at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Options in Community Living, 22 N.
