Susan J. Waddell

MADISON – Susan J. Waddell, age 58 of Madison, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009 at her home. She was born Aug. 28, 1951 in Madison, the daughter of Dr. John and Ruth (Nee) Waddell. Sue spent 25 years of her life caring for others as a registered nurse, primarily at St. Marys Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Christen (Mike Bustin) DeHate, of Milwaukee; her much anticipated granddaughter, Willa Ruth Bustin; a sister, Mary Anne Murray, of Madison; four brothers, John Waddell, of Madison, Steve (Mary Vandenbrook) Waddell, of Summerland Key, Fl., Jim Waddell, of Middleton, and Tom (Kathy Curtis) Waddell, of Mt. Horeb; a special niece, Lynn Murray Kryger and her husband, Dr. John Kryger; and several other nieces and nephews; her best friend, Maria Felland; and Emma, her constant companion. She was preceded in death by her parents. At her request, no services will be held. Sue will be remembered for her endless generosity, kindness and compassion. She will be deeply missed.
