Steven John Webber

BRODHEAD - Steven John Webber, age 54, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011. He was born June 19, 1956, in Madison, the son of Floyd and Margaret (Conners) Webber. He worked at Douglas Stewart and was an avid walker (rain, snow or sleet) and bike rider. No place was too far for him to walk to. He loved card and board games and always made people laugh. Steven is survived by a daughter, Dawn Westbury of Middleton, and her children, Kyla and Kaytlin Pillsbury; a son, Jamie Blanchette of Janesville, and his son, James; a brother, Michael Webber of Brodhead; sisters, Karen Webber, Ann (Mayo) Zamora, Sue Bowers all of Madison, and Carol (William) Weber of Sun Prairie; a very close friend, Shelley "Bunny" Westbury; longtime companion, Doris Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Diane Webber; and a brother, Floyd Webber. A celebration of Steven's life will be held at CITY CHURCH, 4909 E. Buckeye Road, Madison on Thursday, April 14, 2011, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to assist the family would be greatly appreciated.
