Steven A. Gordon

Steven A. Gordon, 63, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at his Town of Middleton home surrounded by his loved ones. Steve was born in Madison, Wis., on March 2, 1959, to Harvey and M. Catherine Gordon.

Steve was a mechanic for several years, and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He retired from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue in 2021.

Steve is survived by his wife, Deb, and his beloved black lab, Axel. He married Deb on October 19, 2013; claiming it was the best thing he ever did. He is further survived by stepdaughter, Erin (Eddie) Woolf; sisters, Sharon (Nick) Meyer and Penny Glassburn; brother, Robert; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many lifelong friends. All who knew him will miss his bright personality and witty remarks.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law; a niece; and a nephew.

In accordance with Steve’s wishes, he will be cremated with no service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
