Souy Seuasoukseng

MADISON Souy Seuasoukseng, age 94 of Madison, passed away at home on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015. She was born in Champasack, Laos on April 23, 1921. She married Dam Seuasoukseng in Champasack, Laos. Souy was a loving mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was a farmer in Laos before moving to the United States with her husband, daughter and son in 1981. Souy brought with her the gift of hope and dreams. Survivors include her daughter, Thay Seuasoukseng; son, Sack Seuasoukseng; eight grandchildren, Thays children Nhoung (Cristen) Khamphoumy, Mai Khamphoumy, Nhanh Khamphoumy, Vilay (Jeff) Welhouse, Melissa Khamphoumy and Andy Khamphoumy; Sacks children Samantha and Christina Sayachith; seven great-grandchildren, Nhoungs children Caysia Conners and Cayden Conners, Vilays children Nitaiya Welhouse, Jeffrey Welhouse III, Jasmine Welhouse and Jayla Welhouse, and Christinas child, Ketreeya Sayachith-Jacobsen. A memorial service will be held at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 4505 Regent St., Madison on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 beginning at 9:45 a.m. Souy has a beautiful, kind and gentle soul. She treated everyone she encountered with love and care. Souy touched the lives of many and we are forever grateful to have had you in our lives. We miss you grandma.
