Shirley Mae Parsons

MADISON/ LAKE GENEVA - Shirley M. Parsons, age 65, of Madison, and formerly of Lake Geneva, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital, after a courageous battle with H1N1, pneumonia and lupus. She will be loved and missed by her eight children, Sandra, Laura, John, Rhonda, Brenda, James, Melinda, Jason and their families; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Harold Johannesen; sister, Nancy Bengford; her best friend, Alberta; and other dear friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Harold, Sr. and Ila (Clary) Johannesen. It was Shirley's wishes that a scent-free and casual (comfy/ jeans...) memorial service be held to celebrate her life at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Road, Madison, on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Shirley's name to the Lupus Foundation of America.
