Sharon R. Cooperrider, 71, passed away June 25, 2010, at Evansville Manor. She was born Aug. 12, 1938, in Detroit, MI, to Milton and Virginia (Loutzenhiser) Kaiser. She was an active member of the Cargill United Methodist Church. Following graduation from high school in Detroit, MI; she earned her Bachelors Degree in nutrition from Santa Fe State College in nutrition. She went on to earn her Masters Degree in Education and Special Education from the University Wisconsin–Whitewater. Sharon was a true citizen of the world traveling to Europe, Alaska, Switzerland and many trips to California and Montana. Most of all, Sharon loved being with her family and friends. Sharon is survived by her children: Mark (Greta Foor) Cooperrider and Karen (Cooperrider) Guzman; a sister, Nancy (Christian) Frank; grandchildren: Terry Doyle, Hannah, Bryce and Olivia Cooperrider, Xander and Blake Guzman. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gerald Kaiser. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at CARGILL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2000 Wesley Ave., Janesville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the CHURCH. Pastor Barbara Wells will be officiating. ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME of Janesville is assisting the family.
