Sharon Lee Fedele

MADISON - Sharon Lee Fedele, age 72, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Sharon was born on Sept. 20, 1942, the daughter of Floyd and Pauline (Briggs) Kalish in rural Muscoda, Wis. She was united in marriage to Peter Fedele on Feb. 15, 1975. She worked at Woodman's East for 22 years as a meat demo, aka "The Meat Lady". She will truly miss the staff in the meat department. Sharon is survived by her caring husband, Peter, of 40 years; two sons, Peter (Nikki) Fedele of East Moline, Ill., and Sam (Bea) Fedele of San Antonio, Texas; and two daughters, Nikki (Ray) Stanzel and Sherry (Todd) Swanton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Burns of Rio, and Connie (Kenneth) Maier of Portage; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diane; and son, Scott. A memorial service will be held at CALVARY GOSPEL CHURCH, 5301 Commercial Ave., Madison, on Saturday, March 28, 2015, beginning at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Thomas officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
