Shari L. Johnson

WINDSOR - Shari Lynn Johnson passed away peacefully at the age of 49 on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. She was born Sept. 13, 1963, to Mary E. Gage. Shari married the love of her life, Norman L. Johnson Jr. in June of 1998. Shari is survived by her husband, Norman L. Johnson Jr.; sons, Randy (Jessica) Dahl and Raymond (Shannon) Johnson; daughter, Felicia (Mark) Krueger; grandchildren, Kaylie, Jace, Ryan, Isiah and Elyjah; stepchildren, Josh Johnson, Jason (Amber) Johnson and Dawn (Gabe) Johnson Campbell; and stepgrandchildren, Taylor, Damian, August, Keegen, Cole, Aaron, Chase, Miles, Blaze and Steel. Shari is further survived by her brother, Deon (Roxanne) Burgard; sisters, Ellen Hohenstrin, Carla (Dennis) Nelson and Kelly (Mark) Kittle; father-in-law, Norman; sisters-in-law, Sharon, Carol and Carla; brothers-in-law, David and Dallas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Mary Gage; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Johnson. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and friend. She also loved playing horseshoes with her partner and husband, "Stormin Norman". A memorial service will be held at ARLINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 103 Reagles St., Arlington, on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A celebration will follow the service at the ARLINGTON COMMUNITY CENTER. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
