Scott T. Holmes

MADISON/SUPERIOR - Scott T. Holmes, age 49, of Madison, and formerly of Superior, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 21, 2007, at University Hospital. He was born July 31, 1957, in Superior, the son of Richard and Lorraine (Urbaniak) Holmes. He graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1975. Following graduation, Scott enlisted in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Spain for two years. He later moved to Madison, a city he truly loved. Some of Scott's passions included biking, gardening, brewing his own beer, relaxing outside watching the birds, spending time up north at the "shack." He will be missed by a son, Lance of Superior; lifetime companion, Betty Hicks of Madison; mother, Lorraine Urbaniak of Superior; three sisters, Peggy (Bill) Nelson of South Range, Susie (Joe) Farmer of LaCrosse and Karen (Pat) Johnson, of Superior; two brothers, Tad (Kari J.) Holmes of Oregon and Troy (Kari L.) Holmes of South Range; and several nieces and nephews. Scott will be further missed by his many friends, including those at the Crystal Corner Bar and The Ideal. He was preceded in death by his father in 1989. A memorial service will be held at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Road, on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Scott found comfort among friends at the East Congregation of Jehovah's Wittnesses.
