Scott J. Solberg

JANESVILLE - Scott James Solberg age 40 of Janesville, Wis. and formerly of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Monday May 26, 2014 at University Hospital in Madison, Wis. He was born on August 18, 1973 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Roger and Carol (Henry) Solberg. He graduated from EGF Senior High School in East Grand Forks, MN with the class of 1991. He married Alicia Recob on December 4, 2004, in Walworth, Wis. He enjoyed playing and watching baseball, bowling, hockey and golf. He was employed with Grainger in Janesville. Scott is survived by his wife, Alicia; mother, Carol, of Grand Forks, ND; in-laws, Jim & Betty Recob, of Walworth; sister-in law Angie (Jason) Hansen, of Elkhorn; brothers-in law, Andrew (Laura) Recob, of South Beloit, IL and Adam (Brittany) Recob, currently stationed at an Air Force Base in Guam. He was the best uncle to Joshua, Kaylee and Benjamin. He is further survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and uncles, Steven & Gary Solberg. A Celebration of Scotts Life is planned for August 23, 2014 at The VFW, East Grand Forks, MN and also August 30, 2014 at Toynton Park in Walworth, WI. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses that took care of Scott over the past 40 years. A very special THANK YOU to "SKIP" Bakers family for letting us have him almost an extra 9 years.
