Schaun A. Schroeder

Sun Prairie – Our beloved son Schaun August Schroeder, age 31, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010 surrounded by his family at HospiceCare, Inc., Fitchburg following an extended illness. He was born September 20, 1978 in Madison, Wisconsin the son of Dennis Schroeder and Lori (Bronson) Surma. Schaun graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1997, where he excelled at soccer. Following graduation he enlisted In the United States Army serving from 1998 to 2002. After being a mechanic in the Army, his passion for motors led him to buy his beloved Mustang GT. He also was an avid outdoorsman. Schaun is survived by his parents, a brother Joshua (Jessica Kirsch) Schroeder of Madison, WI; a sister Kaia Schroeder of Cottage Grove, WI; Maternal grandmother, Charlene Bronson of Madison, WI; Paternal grandmother Doris Schroeder, of Cottage Grove, WI; he is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Vern Bronson Sr., paternal grandfather Roy Schroeder. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 4058 Lien Rd. Madison. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Shaun’s family wishes to thank Hospice Care Inc. and Pineview Assisted Living for their exceptional care of Schaun. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
