Sarah E. Carpenter

MADISON – Sarah E Carpenter, 30, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. She was born on November 7, 1979 in Madison, the daughter of Raymond and Vicky (Rogers) Carpenter. Sarah graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1998. Sarah loved animals, especially her cat Ty Ty, Brewer games, and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her father Raymond (fiancé Sharon Karow) Carpenter of Middleton, two sisters Regina (Jay) Longfield of Deforest, Rebecca (Jason) Nethery of Madison, three brothers, Billy (Jennifer) Carpenter of Melrose, Linus Carpenter and Christopher (Ashley) Carpenter of Middleton, one niece Lyndsie Nethery and four nephews Kylle , Garrett , Robin and Holden Carpenter and a very large extended family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Vicky Carpenter, Grandmother Irene Sams, and Grandfathers Donald Sams and Donald Rogers. Funeral services will be held at ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2126 N. Sherman Ave., Madison on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 12 p.m. with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Summit Credit Union in Sarah Carpenter’s name. The family would like to thank the Dane County Sheriff’s Dive Team for the hours spent searching for Sarah and to the volunteer groups that searched for her.
