Sara Beth Fox

It is with great heartbreak that we share the passing of our beloved daughter, fiancee, niece, cousin, and friend Sara Fox on October 16, 2024.

Sara, a gentle soul with a deep spirituality, had an unwavering kindness. She could light up a room with her quiet presence, offering compassion in the simplest of ways - thoughtful words or her genuine smile. She emanated a sense of peace that touched anyone who had the fortune of knowing her. Her life was filled with music. She had a passionate understanding of many genres and enjoyed sharing her enthusiasm. We will always have her near when we listen to the many playlists she created.

Sara often discussed worlds explored in the pages of books. Her to-be-read list was a testament to her ever curious mind and unquenchable thirst for knowledge. She was always chasing new stories, in books and in life. Though her own story was cut short, her impact will be felt in every chapter of the lives she touched.

As a child, Sara spent a lot of time with her cousins Eric and Russell. Throughout her life, she made friends in Chicago, Medina, Manchester and Janesville. Now she lives among the stars with her younger brother Andrew who passed away on August 9, 2021.

Sara is survived by her parents Chuck and Joan, her fiancée Rachel, Rachel's son Rory, and countless friends. We will miss her terribly, but we take solace in knowing that she's found peace, perhaps in a place where every story is eternal and every question answered. Rest easy, dear friend. You were taken from us too soon but will never be forgotten.

Sara’s celebration of live will be held at Fermenting Cellars Winery, 2004 Manogue Road, Janesville, WI, from 11:00 – 3:00 pm on November 9, 2024. We are asking that rock band/musician tee shirts be worn if possible. Of course anything musical or animal crossing is great too. Food and drink will be available. A short memorial and prayer service will be held at 1 pm. At that time if anyone wants to share a memory of Sara; we would love you to do so.
