Samantha L. Troon

August 25, 1993 — May 10, 2022

My name is Samantha Leigh Troon but all my family and close friends call me Samie. I was born on August 25th, 1993, in Madison, WI, and my parents, Cheryl Hagen and Timothy Troon Sr., could not have been happier. Unfortunately, I had to leave this world sooner than I would have liked on May 10th, 2022. I always had a strong interest in acting and modeling and was lucky enough to win a spot in the Discovery Cruise in 2010 which led me to my first acting contract and signing with my agent. In 2011, I graduated from high school in Janesville, WI. Some would say I have a bubbly personality and I’m sure I could get a smile out of just about anyone if I tried hard enough. I love all things Halloween, from Tim Burton movies to dressing up each year, and everything in between. I’ve struggled a lot in my life and there is a lot I regret but I do love all my family and friends that will not get to see me anymore. I recently found new friends at the Little Kohler Haus in Fredonia, WI who were helping me work through my problems. I am happy to have found them. I always looked forward to the annual surprise mother-daughters weekend with my mom, Cheryl, and my sister, Stephanie, and went on some grand adventures. I know my sister will miss our fights more than anything else though. I’m a very proud aunt and adore all my nieces, Kaileigh (my Buggy), Sarah, Beth, Joey and my nephew, John (my John-day). I will miss all the shopping dates and adventures that my nieces and I would go on, but I’ll be sure to have the best outfits picked out and waiting for them when we meet again, someday. I love my daughters, Jadelynn Raynae (my Jay-Ray) and Angeline (my Angel), and my son, Jackson (my Oogie), with all my heart and look forward to watching them from above as they grow into the beautiful people they are going to become. I am lucky to have a mom who was always there for me; we built a strong trusting relationship together and I know she will miss me very much. My dad, who was forever my teacher, taught me how to turn a wrench and express myself through music. I will miss all my family and friends dearly, including my grandpa, Terry King, my grandma, Marie Hagen, and all my aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including my dear friend Anna, and I look forward to hearing all your stories when we hang out again. Now I’m off to attend my welcome home party in the afterlife to be with my Grandma Queen (LeAnne King), Grandma RJ (Ruth Dicicco), Grandpa Button (Maurice Hagen Jr.), Grandpa Jack (Jack Troon), and my big brother who I finally get to meet, Mathew John Troon. My family is hosting a party in my memory to celebrate my life on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 4110 Tanglewood Drive, Janesville, WI 53546.
