Sally L. Scieszinski

Sally Louise Scieszinski, age 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at Nazareth Health and Rehab Center in Stoughton. She was born March 3, 1927 in Janesville, the daughter of Roy and Francis (Young) Ellis. She graduated from Beloit High School in 1945 and Rockford School of Business in 1947. Sally married James Leroy Scieszinski in 1952. Sally started working at the Janesville Medical Center in 1964 after completing her family of four children. She retired in 1992 after 30 years. Sally enjoyed sewing, watching the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Braves, her bridge club and taking train trips with her husband Jim and their four children to California to visit her sister Laurna Merrill and her family. Sally was a very classy lady, often reminding her daughters not to wear white after Labor Day. Sally is survived by her four children, Robert (Heidi) Scieszinski,of Janesville, WI; Judy (Jim) Pederson, of Madison, WI; Sue (Ken) Jedlinski, Braselton, GA; Beth (Randy) Alt of Liberty, MO eight grandchildren, Brad, Katie, Ben, Josh, Jessie, Casiee, Cody and Ashley; three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Thomas, and Brik. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; granddaughter, Heather; step-brother, Graydon; and sister, Laurna. A memorial service will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 beginning at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the time of service. Special thanks to Nazareth Staff for their great care of Sally, and for all the chocolate bars they provided. Sally was a very loving and giving wife, mother, daughter and great friend.
