MADISON – Sally G. Sadler, age 90 of Madison, passed away while surrounded by her family at SSM Health – St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Sally was born on June 11, 1933, in Ellisburg, NY, the daughter of Ambrose Serviss and Louise Dunway, she was raised on a family farm in Evans Mills, New York, by her adopting parents, Merle and Gladys Adams.
Sally married Basil S. Sadler, and together they had five children. They moved to Madison in 1954, where she worked at Mendota Mental Health Hospital for 38 years, retiring in 1995.
Sally enjoyed working in her flower gardens and taking care of her grandkids. She loved being a grandma.
Sally is survived by her five children, Michael (Nancy) Sadler, William (Heidi) Sadler, Debra (Richard) Gower, Robert (Lynn) Sadler and Jane (Todd) Klinger; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three grandchildren, Julie, Jenny, and Jessica.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m., on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison, with private entombment at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK MAUSOLEUM, Monona, WI.
