Ruth "Rj" Jean Dicicco

MILTON – Ruth Jean “RJ” DiCicco, age 64 of Milton, passed away on Friday, May 09, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born Nov. 2, 1943 in Janesville, the daughter of Wayne and Betty (Peterson) Becker. She married Lester Troon, and together they raised four children. They would later divorce, and RJ moved to Pennsylvania, where she worked at the Pittsburgh Airport. She would later return to Wisconsin, where she worked at Perry Judds in Waterloo until her retirement. RJ enjoyed sewing and reading, but truly loved the companionship of her kitty’s, Max and Benji. She is survived by four children, John (De) Troon, of Janesville, Tim Troon, of Milton, Tammy (Alan) Vesper, of Johnson Creek, and Lori Hess, of Aliquippa, PA; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren; mother, Betty Jacobus, of Mesa, AZ; sisters, Shirley (Ron) Koebler, of Janesville, Susan (Jim) Laack, of Beloit, and Debra Gross, of Janesville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; an infant grandson, Matthew Troon; and nephews, Jeff and Steven Raby. A memorial gathering will be held at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville, on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
