Roscoe H. Van Pool

Roscoe Harold Van Pool Jr., age 70, passed away May 31, 2007 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, following an extended battle with cancer and heart disease. He was born April 17, 1937 in Janesville, WI to Roscoe and Dorothy (Wandell) Van Pool. He grew up in Janesville. He was self-Employed most of his life. He lived in Alaska for twenty years owning several business’. Upon returning to Wisconsin in the mid eighties where he started ABC Recycling, and State Line Recycling. He enjoyed making money, fishing, Nascar, panning for gold, and his dogs (Kadee). Roscoe is survived by his wife Linda Van Pool , of Janesville, WI; seven children, David (Becky) VanPool, of Juneau, AL; Dale (Gail) VanPool, of WA; Daniel (Patricia) Van Pool of Juneau, AL; Bonnie O’Brian of Juneau, AL; Brian Van Pool, of Juneau, AL; James (Misty) Thomas, of Janesville, WI; Tanya (Alex) Fuchs, of Edgerton, WI; one stepson Kristopher Schoonover, of Janesville, WI; three sisters, Betty McCallum, of Albany, WI; Delores Moore, of Evansville, WI; Esther Jordan of Janesville, WI; one step brother Gerald Dabson, of Afton, WI; Mother and father in law Wayne and Joan Raese, of Wonewoc, WI; three brothers in law, James (Sally) Raese, of Wonewoc, WI; Dan (Julie) Raese of Janesville, WI; Larry (Maryanne) Raese, of McFarland, WI; thirteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and best friend, like a son Todd (Shelly) Pember, of Janesville, WI; He is preceded in death by his parents, a step father Cleo Dabson, four brothers Donald, Perry Allen, and Richard, and Ralph Van Pool. One sister Jean Ambrose, and his dog Rudy. A memorial service will be held at a later date. All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Service, 1618 E.
