Ronald W. Kautz

Ronald W. Kautz, 73 of Evansville, Wisconsin passed away on January 4, 2025 at his home in Evansville. He was born on August 11, 1951 in Madison, Wisconsin to Bruno and Ann Kautz.

Ron's life was marked by a deep love for his family and a spirit of adventure. He married his high school sweetheart, Georgia Giltner, on September 18, 1969, after they first met on the Square in Madison, Wisconsin. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Ron was a long-haul truck driver for 48 years. He spent countless hours on the road but he always returned home with stories to share. His true joy, however, was found in the simple pleasures of life - riding his motorcycle Lucille, tinkering with projects, and, most importantly, spending time with his loved ones. Whether it was camping with his children during their younger years, working on cars/trucks, taking Lucille apart to make her run better and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his wife Georgia, his children: Daniel (Jen) Kautz, Kristine (Jeff) Anderson, and Nichole Kautz-Hunt; his grandchildren: Krystii Baker, Kari Baker, Sara Anderson, Pete (Danielle) Anderson, Sky (Tony) Fitch, Jewel Hunt and Faith Kautz-Wilke; and his great grandchildren: Bella, Evan, Aspen, Brooks, and Briggs. He is also survived by his brothers in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Ron is preceded in death by son, John Kautz; his parents and siblings.

Services for Ron will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at All Faiths Funeral Home, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service, on January 26, 2025 at the funeral home.
