Ronald R. Persike

MADISON – Ronald R. Persike, age 67 of Madison, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. He was born June 13, 1943 in Deridder, Louisiana the son of Raymond and Eleanor (Kobach) Persike. He married Patricia J. Green on April 27, 1963 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Monona. Together, they owned and operated File Systems, Inc. until his retirement in 2001. Ron loved traveling with his wife, vacationing yearly with his family to Door County, NASCAR Racing, old movies, cutting the grass on his land, and taking care of his horses. But most of all, he loved being a grandpa. He is survived by his wife Pat; daughters, Angela (David) Fisher, of Deerfield and Kristina “Tina” (Brad) Nordhaus, of Middleton; four grandchildren, Cody and Gina Fisher, and Anna and Emily Nordhaus; and his mother-in-law, Jane Greene, of Sun Prairie. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bruce; and a daughter, Gina Persike, whom he missed dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SACRED HEARTS OF JESUS AND MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 221 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Father John Putzer presiding. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. We are very appreciative of the kindness and care given to Ron by the nurses, doctors and staff at HospiceCare, Inc. They are angels in our eyes.
