MONTELLO/MARSHALL Rolland C. Hellenbrand, age 87, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 28, 2018, in the company of his wife Marjorie. Rolland was born in Ashton, Wis., on Aug. 3, 1930, the son of Anton and Margaret (Brabender) Hellenbrand. He served with the U.S. Armys 24th Infantry Division during the Korean War, where he fought in two major battles. He spent most of his life as a carpenter and farmer. He was also an avid fisherman. Rolland is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie; son Randy and daughter-in-law, Crystal; grandson, Randy II and his wife Barb; grandson, Marc; three great-grandchildren, Harley and Ellie Hellenbrand and Justin D. Eastwood. Funeral services will be held at MARSHALL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 318 William St., Marshall on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at 10:30 a.m with Pastor Heidi Loomis officiating. Burial with military honors will follow the service at the Medina Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
