Roger G. Peters

MADISON – Roger G. Peters, age 74, passed away unexpectedly at Mertiter Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022.

He was born in Two Rivers, Wis., on May 19, 1948, the son of Gusteve and Eleanor (Hove) Peters. After graduating from Two Rivers High School, Roger went on to UW-Whitewater and later moved to Madison, where he worked as an aide until he retired after 35 years.

He married Susan Lemke on May 15, 2019, after a 35-year courtship.

Roger was a huge Wisconsin sports fan, including the Packers, Bucks, Brewers and Badgers. If he wasn’t watching a game on tv, he was listening to it on the radio.

In addition to his wife, Susan Lemke, Roger is survived by three brothers and two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and other siblings.

A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at the WILLOWS TAVERN in Westport.
