MOUNT HOREB - Robert H. Larson, age 75, of Mount Horeb, died suddenly on Friday June 30, 2006 at his farm. Robert was born on September 30, 1930 in the Township of Perry on the farm his family homesteaded. His parents were Peter and Hilda Larson. Bob enjoyed being with and around people. He was a dedicated member of The Perry Lutheran Church. He was a devoted and caring father, grandfather, and friend, who was eagerly and graciously involved in our lives. He was always available when one needed him even before being asked. Bob took great pleasure in maintaining and caring for his farm. He loved gardening, camping, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and photography. The thing that made him the happiest was simply spending time with his family. He loved and celebrated life. He is survived by two brothers, LaVerne (Jean) Larson of Tomahawk and Jim (June) Judd of Arbor Vitae; two sisters, Eunice Gudgeon of Madison and Lois McVicker of Lac du Flambeau; Doris Erickson, mother of their four sons; Robert P. (Bobbie A.) Larson of Mount Horeb, Thomas J. (Paula M.) Larson of Barneveld, Jon M. (Pam L.) Larson of Mount Horeb, Douglas V. (Karen) Larson of Hauser Lake, ID; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Alice Jolly and Mae Judd; his second wife, Wilma Larson; two brothers, Harold Larson and Melvin Larson . Melvin was killed in action in the African Campaign on March 24, 1943. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at PERRY LUTHERAN CHURCH in Daleyville with Reverend Hans Floan officiating.
