Robert A. Femrite

DEFOREST – Robert A. Femrite, age 77 of DeForest, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He was born in Madison on Dec. 17, 1943, the son of Kenneth and Beatrice (Kalar) Femrite. Robert graduated from Madison Central High School, class of 1961, where he met his future wife, Vicki Cramer. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years of service. He loved his family, especially watching his grandkids at their various activities. Robert is survived by his wife, Vicki; four children, Gina (Kurt) Schinke, Kelly (Scott) Jones, Renee (Todd Kruchten) Femrite, and Jason Femrite; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill (Donna) Femrite. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Geraldine; and four grandchildren. A private family service will be held followed by a Celebration of Robert’s Life from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at VFW DAY POST 7591, 301 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison.
