JANESVILLE - Rita Mae (Donahue) Siedsma, 78, went to be with Jesus on Dec. 24, 2010, from Mercy Hospital in Janesville. Rita was born in Wood County, WI, to Donald and Gertrude Donahue on June 27, 1932. She married Rev. Andrew Siedsma, Jr. on Nov. 22, 1950, in Worthington, MN. She is survived by her husband; four daughters: Leila (Michael) Gray of Niles, MI, Kathryn (Robert) Alsman of Austin, TX, Renee McGuan of DeKalb, IL, and Christine (James) Knull of Janesville, WI; six grandchildren: Matthew Gray of Wichita, KS, Michele (Timothy) Ashton of Niles, MI, LeAnn (Joshua) Embry and Jimi (Heather) Alsman of Austin, TX, Daniel and Ryan Knull of Janesville, WI; two stepgrandsons, Jeffrey (Stacey) of Coal City, IL, and Shawn McGuan of Ottawa, IL; four great-grandchildren: Nikoli Alsman, Jonathan and Madeline Embry, and Oliver Ashton; five sisters: Phyllis (Clarence) Jacobs, Jeanette Vickers, Marlene (Jim) Vermett, Beverly (Phil) Kohley, and Joann Morris; numerous nieces; nephews; and dear friend, Kathryn Schroeder of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Joseph McGuan; two sisters, Arlene Donahue and an infant; and two brothers, Lee and Lyle Donahue. Memorials have been established with the Alzheimer Support Center of Rock County, 20 S. Main St,, Suite 15, Janesville, WI 53545—which has provided support to Rita in the care of her husband; and the Joseph McGuan Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Renee McGuan, 599 Wood Street, DeKalb, IL 60115. Services will be held at EMMANUEL FREE METHODIST CHURCH, 4224 Whilden Ct., Janesville, WI, on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, with visitation from 10 until 11 a.m. and a memorial service at 11 a.m., with Rev.
