MADISON - Rita Mae Marr, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013. She was born in Madison on Jan. 6, 1932, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Zimmerman) Derra. She married Kenneth E. Marr in Madison on Sept. 7, 1948. Rita enjoyed calling for RSVP Ride Service, was a bingo queen, enjoyed listening to music, Bible study, singing, mail order shopping and watching her TV. She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Sandi) of Oxford, James (Sharon) of Edgerton, Rhonny of Beloit, Ricky (Therese) of Beloit, and Francine (Richard) Marr of Edgerton; 11 grandchildren, Robby, Angie, Rita, Christina, Rhonny, Heather, Danielle, Jeremy, Dillan, Jason and Chase; 13 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Jordan, Logan, Celia, Sydney, Spencer, Ryder, Anthony, Austin, Alia, Adrian, Jaedon and Kennley; and several nieces and nephews. Rita was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Gary; brothers, Don, Gordon, Dick, Bob and Tom; sisters, Louise and Shirley; and a sister-in-law, Rosie. A celebration of Rita's life will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Road, Madison, on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, beginning at noon with Pastor Larry Jordan officiating. Inurnment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Madison. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank Agrace HospiceCare, Dean Clinic-Fish Hatchery Road, Dr. Motl, Dr. Wenger, and all her friends and neighbors at Glenwood Senior Community Living, for their dedication and loving friendship.
