JANESVILLE Richard N. Wagner, age 81, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville. He was born at home in Janesville on Aug. 11, 1933, the son of Leonard and Alice (Kluge) Wagner. He joined the U.S. Army on Feb. 13, 1951 and was honorably discharged on Feb. 13, 1954. He was awarded the Parachutist Badge, National Defense Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Upon completion of his military service, he married Rosalee Ricki Adair, and together they had a daughter, Tracey. Dick and Ricki would later divorce and he married Betty Loasching, and helped raise her four daughters. Dick and Betty would later divorce as well. He was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast since 1948 and actively rode for 60 years. Dick worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Janesville for 38 years, retiring in 1998. While working for the City, he was known as Shake N Bake or Waggie and was well known for his colorful language on the work radio. On Sept. 28, 2008, Dick married Lynn M Collisson, although they had been together for 22 years they had been married for six. Dick is survived by his wife, Lynn M. Wagner; two daughters, Tracey Helms and Rosa (William) Malone; a grandson, Owen Thomas Malone; a brother, Howard; five sisters, Helen (Gordon) Cox, Juanita Cronin, Virginia Leffler, Patricia (Robert) Byrne and Sandy Stapleton; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ginger Kuschel. Funeral services will be held at MILTON LAWNS MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 2200 Milton Ave. Janesville on Thursday, March 19, 2015 beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Scott Buchanan officiating and military honors to follow. Visitation will be held at Milton Lawns on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund in Dicks name is being established.
