Richard J. Mccafferty

MADISON - Richard James McCafferty, born Sept. 1, 1944 to Chester and Elizabeth McCafferty in Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008. Dick leaves behind a son, Chad and daughter Tina (Darin) Brockmiller; two grandchildren, Taralee and Skylar; along with his siblings: Anne Curkeet, and Charles, Betty, and Bill McCafferty. He is further survived by the Knutsen and Bach families. Dick was a blessing to all who know him, a man who always had an ear for anyone. He liked woodworking and playing cards. Dick worked many jobs, from owning The Doughnut Station in Marshfield, to bartending at Yesterdays Once More. His service was always with a smile. A loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, whom we will all miss. Thank you for your love and the memories you have given to all of us. We will miss you and keep you in our hearts. It is now time for you and Darrell to make donuts in heaven. A celebration of Dick's life will be held at VFW POST #1318, 133 E. Lakeside, Madison on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please bring your memories
