Raymond Menton

MADISON – Raymond Menton, age 49 of Madison, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. He was born April 2, 1959 in Chicago, the son of Blanche Menton and Robert Moore. He attended Morgan Park High School. Raymond was a handyman and loved to work on cars. He is survived by five children, Yvonne (Kevin Nowell) Barber, Evelyn (Kenny Little) Barber, Denise (Derrick Hemingway) Barber, Kimberly Barber, and Raymond Barber, Jr.; three sisters, Denise, Kimberly (Jerry) and Deborah; two brothers, Rodney (Betty) and Larry (Rochelle); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Edgar; and long time companion, Peaches. A celebration of Raymond’s life will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. Visitation will beat the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
