Raymond Allen

May 7, 1940 - October 2, 2008 Raymond C. Allen, 68, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, at home. Raymond was born on May 7, 1940, in Crystal Lake, IL, son of Willard and Lucille (Fradendall) Allen. Raymond was an electrician/truck driver. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and his many pets. He married the former Betty Ann Quade in 1959. Survivors include his son, Harold (Agnes) Allen; two daughters, Cathrine Allen and Mary (Mark) Elliott; grandchildren: Shonnon (Kevin) Smith, Nick Hanan, Jessie Hanan, and Tyler Matzke; a great-grandson, Kevin James Smith; two brothers; three sisters; his wife and his other children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at ROCKVALE CLUBHOUSE. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to the family.
