Phillip J. Boyle

Janesville-Phillip J. Boyle, age 70, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. He was born August 13, 1936 in , WI to Glen and Nellie (Hayes) Boyle. He was a life long resident of Janesville, attending Janesville High School. Phil served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had a passion for aviation and was employed with Midwest Aviation as a cargo pilot. Later he was employed by Wickes Lumber for 23 years. He married Norberta Richardson in 1964 and later married Karen Larson on July 9th 1977. He was an avid reader, and a fan of country music, the Milwaukee Brewers and NASCAR. He also enjoyed Parker Girls and Badger Basketball. He traveled to many Civil War sites and read civil war history. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Phillip is survived by his wife Karen, daughter Dawn Augustin (Alan) of Janesville, 3 step children Jerry Larson Jr. (Laurie) of Janesville, Dennis Larson (Val) of White Bear Lake, MN, Cynthia Forster (Thomas) of Oregon, WI, 9 grandchildren Phillip and Trevor Boyle, Chad Larson, Kaitlin Larson, Andrea, Brad, Alyssa DeLorimer, and Emily and Jessica Forster, and 1 great granddaughter Rea Larson. 2 Brothers Vincent Boyle (Lois) of Wisconsin Rapids, Quentin Boyle (Mary) of Muscatine, IA; 2 brothers-in-law, Eben (Grace) Robertson, of Monroe, WI; Martin Robertson, of St. Petersburg, FL. And his beloved cats Oliver and Katie. He is preceded by his parents and 1 sister Francezka Real. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at Faith Lutheran Church 2116 Mineral Point Ave. Janesville. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at All Faiths Funeral Chapel 1618 E. Racine St. Janesville,on Monday August28, 2006 with a video tribute at 7:30 P.M. and again from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church on Tuesday. A memorial fund is being established in memory of Phillip. All Faiths - Janesville, 1618 E. Racine Street, Janesville, WI will be handling the arrangements.
