Patrick Lowrey

Waukegan, IL.-Patrick Lowrey, age 56, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in Waukegan, IL. He was born June 4, 1952 the son of Allen and Mary Louise (Zimmerer) Lowrey in Bethesda, MD. Patrick was a Navy veteran who grew up in Whitewater loving the outdoors. After serving his country he became a civilian teacher for the Navy in the electronics field. He was a valued member of the academic staff at Great Lakes Naval Base. Before going into the Navy, he graduated from Stevens PointUniversity with a degree in Forest Management. He was a brave man living in Illinois, a true Packer fan in Bear country. He loved music and computers. Patrick is survived by: John (Linda) Lowrey, of Madison, Mike (Pat) Lowrey, of Amarillo, Texas, Peter (Laura) Lowrey, of Madison, and Susan Lowrey, of Sioux CityIowa. Along with a nephew and a niece, Allen and Amy Lowrey of AmarilloTexas. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Allen and Mary Louise (Zimmerer) Lowrey. Funeral Serices will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 16, 2009 at WhitewaterUnitedMethodistChurch. Burial will be at Hillside Cemtery in Whitwater. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
