Patricia J. Danielson

MADISON - Patricia J. (Corbin) Danielson, 76, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, after a valiant battle with cancer. Trish was born on Oct. 6, 1944, to Phillip and Emma (Arntsen) Corbin. After high school in Argyle, Patricia moved to the Madison area and worked for Liberty Trucking, Marquip Corp, WPS and Dean Heath Systems. Trish had a passion to help veterans and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 8483 Auxiliary, serving in many roles including President. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 481 Auxiliary as well as Woman’s Auxiliary to the MOC (Military Order of the Cootie). Trish also served as President for the 2nd District Auxiliary to the VFW. She was very proud of working her way through the ranks to become the State of Wisconsin VFW Auxiliary President and served many years as Secretary to the Madison Veterans Council. Trish is survived by brothers, Harold (Barbara) and John (Kay) Corbin; and bonus children, Jeff (Mary) Danielson and Julie (Fred) Oyer.She is further survived by many special grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and Auxiliary sisters and brothers around Wisconsin. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Phillip, Robert, Dean, Gary, and Steve; sister, Marian Sniff; and husband, Lawrence Danielson. A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at VFW POst 8483, 5737 County Highway CV, Madison.
