MIDDLETON - Patricia Ann Bottorff “Pat” aged 73, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006 at the Ellen and Peter Johnson HospiceCare Residence in Fitchburg. Patricia was born in Sioux Falls, SD on Aug. 28, 1933, the daughter of Thomas Patrick McCue and Cecilia Marie (Miller) McCue. She graduated Canistota High School in 1951 and attended Truman Jr. College in Freeman, SD. Pat was an Air Force wife for many years before they settled in San Bernardino Co for 1967-1977, then the family moved to Fayetteville, AR. where her favorite job was as head of the Washington Regional Hospital Credit Union. After the last of her children left home she moved to Fayetteville/ Benson, NC in 1989 and enjoyed her time as a bookkeeper and the Benson Senior Center Director. In 2000, she moved to her final home in Middleton, WI. She was active in her church, was well known for her hand made greeting cards and was loved by many for her wit. She had recently discovered her talent for converting some of her life’s tales into humorous stories and poems. She is survived by 4 children, son, Allen (Merilyn) Bottorff of Middleton, son, Mark Bottorff of Jamestown CA, daughter, Mary Lee, Farmington AR and son, Ty Bottorff of Springdale AR; 7 grandchildren, Zachary and Ezekiel Bottorff of Middleton, Matthew Bottorff of Fayetteville, AR, Alicia Bottorff of Tellahoma, TN Felicia and Christopher (CJ) Lee of Fayetteville, NC and Emma Bottorff of Farmington, AR; and 2 great-grandchildren, Alexandra Rayho of Madison and Zachary in TN. She is further survived by 8 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her 3 brothers, Clifford, Lloyd and Donald McCue. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday Oct. 14 at 10:30a.m. ST. BERNARD‘S CATHOLIC CHURCH,7450 University Ave., Middleton, with a Celebration on Life to follow at Voss House, 6710 Elmwood Ave., Middleton. Interment in Montrose, SD at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to HospiceCare 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway or the Middleton Senior’s Center.
