Patricia A. Turner

November 4, 1931 - July 18, 2009 Patricia A. “Pat” Turner, 77, of Janesville, died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Mercy Hospital. She was born on in Janesville Nov. 4, 1931, the daughter of Harold Franklin and Violet Marguerite (Burdick) Ellefson. Pat married Lester L. Turner on July 17, 1954, in Dubuque, IA. Lester died on May 29, 1989. Survivors include her son, Denis R. Turner; three daughters: Connie (Reginald) Duhr, Sheila (John) Carney, and Becky Turner, all of Janesville; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her cousin, Katie Petitt; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Lester Jr.; her sisters, Rosemarie Buggs and Janet Peterson; and her brothers: LaVern, Richard, and Harold Ellefson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009, at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1618 E. Racine St., with Fr. Herbert Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitations will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 22, from 4 until 7 p.m., with a video tribute at 7 p.m., and also on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service.
