Patricia A. Daggett

MONONA - Patricia A. "Pat" (Sparks) Daggett, age 82, passed away on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at home surrounded by her family after losing her battle with cancer. She was born on Dec. 12, 1932, to Calbert and Annabel (Carden) Sparks. Pat graduated from East High School in 1950. She married Stan Daggett on Sept. 17, 1955. Pat loved bridge, bowling, and golf. She was an avid UW Badgers and Packers fan. In her later years, she was a professional golf fanatic. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pat worked for many years at Dean Clinic-Fish Hatchery. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital after 35 years as a switchboard operator. She met monthly with her Nifty "Fifty" group from East High School. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Stan; son, Tim and his wife, Mary; daughter, Sandy; sister, Elaine Moran; and her parents. She is survived by her son, Tom (Theresa) Daggett; daughter, Jean (Jeff) Holder; grandsons, Curtis (Ali) Daggett, Ben (Stevie) Daggett, Peter (Hannah) Daggett, Ian Holder and Seth Holder; granddaughter, Cassie (Codie See) Daggett; and great-grandchildren, Patrick and Oliver Daggett, Arthur Daggett, Kevin Daggett, Olive and Teo See. She is further survived by her brothers, Jim Sparks, Bill (Dorothy) Sparks and her sister, Betty (Don) Atkins. A visitation will be held at AGRACE HOSPICECARE, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a short prayer at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E.
