Norman C. Martinson, Jr.

IOLA/MADISON - Norman C. Martinson, Jr., age 65 of Iola, and formerly of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at his home. Norm was born Oct. 28, 1941 in Madison, the son of Norman and Rose (Rau) Martinson. He was a graduate of Madison East High School and was a licensed journeyman plumber. Norm served in the United States Air Force. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father, uncles and friends. In later life he enjoyed feeding the birds and deer that would pass through his yard. Norm is survived by his mother, Rose, of Madison; three sisters, Kaia Martinson, Millie O’Neill, and Rose Anne Martinson, all of Madison; several nieces, nephews, and his many friends who helped him during his difficult times, especially, Dennis Borski, Brad Prentice, Orv Kreuger, and Larry Rusch, from the Iola area. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Clare Jones. Private services will be held at a later date.
