Nancy K. Ferdyn

MADISON - Nancy Kathryn Ferdyn, age 72, peacefully left this world on Monday, July 19, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. Nancy was born in Madison, Wis., on March 11, 1949, and she attended Madison West High School and South Hills High School in California, from where she graduated in 1967. She married Stephen Ferdyn in 1985, in San Diego, California, and was a loving, joyful presence to her two sons and her granddaughter. During her life, Nancy worked as a bookkeeper and as a childcare provider, and she enjoyed a wide range of hobbies and activities, including sewing, knitting, and crocheting, beading, cooking, and attending Bible Study and church meetings. She also was an avid thespian and acted in church productions and in several films. She was preceded in death by her father, William Bailey Tenney; mother, Miriam Tenney (née Martin); and her older sister, Patricia Ann Tenney. She is survived by her husband, Steve; son, Mike Maunu and his wife Leanne; and son, Eric Givens and his partner Jessica Rybold, and their daughter, Teigan Marie Givens. Her family and friends were her greatest joys in her life, as was her devotion to Christ.  Nancy made an impact on everyone she met, and she will live in our hearts forever.
